British Grand Prix - Mallory Park

The 2009 Motocross Grand Prix will be held at Mallory Park circuit for the second year running on a revised, purpose built track.

Mallory Park, or the friendly circuit as it's known, was chosen last year as the venue for the Grand Prix for its central location, and also the existing infrastructure at the circuit, which is a requirement of series organisers Youthstream.

RHL Activities, together with the circuit management, built a new, purpose built motocross track within the confines of Mallory Park, which had to be partly removed after last year's Motocross Grand Prix of Great Britain due to planning regulations. This year the track will be revised and built especially for the Grand Prix, with lessons learned from last year's successful event. The Supermoto races will be held partly on this track and on the existing road race circuit within Mallory Park.
